Celebrating the end of an era for Dinglewell Year 6 students!

As a fellow local club, we really feel for the team at the Churchdown Club, especially given our own current situation. We really understand the impact on the community, members and users when a club faces difficulties, whatever they may be. If anybody is able to offer them any support following the recent fire they suffered I am sure they would be grateful. 😘

Looking back through last year’s diary has been one of the hardest things we’ve had to do.

Page after page is filled with everything that made Churchdown Club such a special place. Summer skittles, league matches, bowls teas, birthday parties, doctors’ surgery socials, Folk Club evenings, Brownies, U3A groups and so many other clubs, organisations and celebrations that brought our community together week after week.

Seeing just how full our diary was in 2025 really brings home the impact of the devastating fire. It’s not just a building that’s been affected – it’s the countless people, groups, friendships and memories that called Churchdown Club home.

We know how much the Club meant to so many people, and we’re incredibly saddened that so many regular activities have been disrupted.
