The recent prolonged spells of relatively mild weather has kicked-off the start of 'Tick season'.

So if you're spending time in the outdoors in areas where ticks could be a factor, remember to check yourself and each other.

Changeable weather meant that the morning went from clear and dry to some potentially challenging conditions with zero visibility and damp rock.

We were prepared though, so as we hit the cloud base we put on some layers, skipped the unnecessary summit and strolled off to better conditions lower back down.

You can pack a lot of adventure into half a day!
