TRW Bowls Club - Stapleford We are a friendly lawn bowling club based in Stapleford, Nottinghamshire. We participate in local leagues too. New members are most welcome.

What a difference a drop or three of rain makes. The lawn already looks much greener. It' was great to see many of our members enjoying a roll up this afternoon before the rain forced games to stop. All took shelter in the club hut to enjoy a cuppa and a friendly natter.

Great to see so many existing and new club members at our regular Monday afternoon roll up. The lawn is doing relatively well considering the prolonged dry period we are experiencing at the moment, thanks to our friendly Broxtowe Borough groundsmen and club members providing some tlc.
It's still not too late to come down and try your hand at flat lawn bowling. We're here Monday, Wednesday and Friday afternoons 1-3.30pm. Casual dress code - Just wear a pair of flat soled shoes.

One quintessential English summer's evening at Attenborough Village bowls club with the local church bells ringing in the back ground saw us compete in the Beeston Open League knock out cup. The game didn't quite go to plan for us this year. Let's keep smiling, practising and improving together in order to bring the shield back to TRW again next year. Even though the season is well underway, it's never too late to come and join us. All level of players welcome, from none at all to the fully experienced.
No equipment - no problem. Just bring yourself and a pair of flat soled shoes (to avoid damaging the green) and we'll do our best to sort out the rest.

If you want to take part in casual roll-ups and/or play in competitive matches then please come along and join us. If you have your own equipment that's great. Otherwise just bring some flat soled shoes with you and we will do our best to get you bowling.
