Second video of our dressage at GB PRE. Bean is still quite green at competing so we still have the odd moments of her being unsure but getting more confident every time 💪.

Our contact is coming along nicely and we are moving forward well now. Training horses as an amateur is a slow but rewarding process.

I have been very, very bad at posting on here! Was going to use this page to chronicle my training and dressage journey but haven't posted for 18 months 🤣.

This means I'm not sure if this post/video will show on anyone's feeds but my baby Spanish Faenza (Bean) is now a green 7 year old and we did our first stay away show at the GB PRE Nationals at Harpury. I have made a little video of Day 1- travelling and settling in. Enjoy watching 💓

SICAB Day 5!

Today was the big day of the Grand Prix freestyle!

Was a great show with some awesome music. I have made it a longer video today, enjoy 🥳

SICAB Day 4!

Today was the turn of the functionality tests for the stallions. Not only do they need to show good morphology and paces in hand, they also have to show their trainability under saddle.

This was followed by the Grand Prix dressage. Lots of green combinations this year but still a good competition.

Day 2 at SICAB!

Sorry it is a day late but I went to the evening show and then it was too late to make it 😅

Day 2 involved the final day for the 4, 5 and 6 year olds with Bean's uncle being crowned overall 4 year old PRE champion of the World 😁. Her half brother (same sire) won the second day test with a whopping 84.8% (so all eyes on Bean now 😏).

It was also the first day of the 7 year olds and the start of other classes too.

In the evening I went to the spectacular show, I've only put a small video from it in as don't want to ruin it for anyone else!

Day 1 at SICAB 2022 and it was the preliminary day for the 4, 5 and 6 year olds is dressage and the male and female 2 year olds in morphology.

Some stunning horses were on show today with Bean's uncle scoring 83% in the 4 year olds!

Must confess I didn't watch too much of the morphology today.

This first day is always the quietest so good to have a look round the shops and stables.

I have been very bad at updating this page but I am back in Seville ready for SICAB 2022!

I will try and do videos once again of each day and after will try and remember to keep up with updating as lots has been going on!

I have arrived a few days early to do some sight seeing around the old town and can confirm it is very beautiful.
