What a brilliant weekend at Stansted Cricket Club!
Today saw our seniors and juniors come together for a 30-over inter-club match, with plenty of great cricket on show. Our youngsters have been busy all weekend, representing the club from the U13s right through to the Men's 1st XI.
A big well done to Zac Berry and Ryan Cope for both scoring league fifties yesterday. Our U15s were also in fantastic form this morning, picking up a great win against Hockerill in an excellent game of cricket.
A special mention goes to our U10 star Fletcher Edwards, who stepped up in today's inter-club game and scored a brilliant 13 runs with a really impressive batting display.
The weekend hasn't just been about cricket though – it's also been full of laughs, banter, and a few beers shared with great people. That's what makes Stansted Cricket Club such a special place.
