WHAT. A. PERFORMANCE. FROM THE GIRLS! 🔥💪

As the girls headed onto the pitch, some of the opposition players were heard saying, “It’s only girls!” 👀

Their coach was quick to correct them, telling them: “Girls aren’t an easy game, trust me!” And how right she was! 👏

From the very first whistle, our Pinks came out flying! They pressed hard, battled for every ball, passed brilliantly and pushed forward with real confidence. The girls created chance after chance and were so unlucky not to find the back of the net.

Unfortunately, the opposition managed to take a 2-0 lead, but our girls didn't let their heads drop. They rolled their sleeves up and kept working their socks off! 💪💗

The passing, tackling and determination from the Pinks was fantastic. They finally got the goal they deserved after hitting the post FOUR TIMES! 😱⚽️

Despite a few more goals going against us, the girls dug incredibly deep and never stopped fighting. They managed to pull some goals back and finished the game with a narrow defeat.

The scoreline definitely doesn't tell the full story. The girls showed heart, determination, teamwork and some fantastic football against a strong side. They never gave up and battled right until that final whistle. ❤️

And to the boys who thought “it's only girls”… hopefully today showed you exactly why you should NEVER underestimate the Pinks! 💗🔥

What a game! ⚽🔥

The Pinks started strong from the first whistle, closing down their opposition, pressing high and putting Brandon under pressure. Their hard work paid off early with a goal to give the girls a 1-0 lead.

It wasn’t long before another one found the back of the net, giving the Pinks a fantastic 2-0 advantage.

The girls continued to work their socks off, battling up and down the pitch against a strong Brandon side. Brandon fought their way back into the game and managed to pull one back, making it 2-1.

From there, the game turned into an absolute goal-fest and end-to-end battle! Both teams showed incredible determination, with neither side willing to give up.

The scoreline kept changing:

2-2 → 3-2 → 3-3 → 4-3 → 4-4 → 5-4 → 5-5! 🤯🔥

The girls gave absolutely everything right until the final whistle, battling for every ball and showing fantastic teamwork, determination and never-say-die attitude.

An action-packed game from start to finish between two teams who gave it their all.

🏆 **Chester FC Pinks Tournament Update** 🏆

What a fantastic day for our Chester FC Pinks! 💗

Playing in the year above open tournament today, the girls stepped back into 7v7 football for the first time in a while and quickly got back into the swing of things. Throughout the tournament, they played some excellent football, showing great teamwork, determination, and quality on the ball. The football on show from the girls was brilliant to watch, and they should all be incredibly proud of themselves.

The Pinks reached the final where they faced a very strong Newcastle City Juniors side. The girls came out with the fire and intensity needed against a team a year above, and both teams put on a fantastic, action-packed final. Unfortunately, it wasn’t our day as we fell to a narrow defeat in the final hurdle. A huge well done to Newcastle City Juniors on the win — it was a great game to watch and a brilliant advert for youth football. 👏

As coaches, we couldn’t be prouder of every single one of the girls and how well they performed today. The effort, attitude, teamwork, and quality they showed were outstanding.

It’s always so hard to pick a Player of the Tournament because every single girl was amazing today, but this one goes to our little thunder **Jazzy**! ⚡️

**Chester Le Street FC Pinks vs South Tyneside Roma**

With the DFA league game cancelled, the Pinks stepped up to face an RFYL Division 8 boys side in a friendly — and what a game it turned out to be!

The girls came flying out of the blocks, pressing high, moving the ball brilliantly, and attacking with pace down the wings. Their fast start paid off instantly, racing into a 2–0 lead with two quick-fire goals.

South Tyneside Roma responded well, fighting their way back into the game and levelling it at 2–2 before edging ahead to make it 3–2.

After a strong half-time team talk, the Pinks came back out determined and full of energy. They battled for every ball and were rewarded with a well-earned equaliser to make it 3–3.

Despite their efforts, Roma managed to take the lead again, making it 4–3. But the Pinks weren’t done. Showing incredible determination, they pushed forward once more and grabbed another goal from a corner to level things up again.

With seconds left on the clock, the girls dug deep one final time — and snatched a dramatic late winner just before the final whistle!

An outstanding team performance full of fight, resilience, and brilliant football from start to finish.

Girl of the game goes to 2 players this week as the coaches couldn't decide - Jazzy for her excellent work rate on the wing, ball control and determination and Arvannah for her speed closing down the ball and starting strong from the very beginning doing everything the coach could ask for.

Captains player of the match goes to Reeva for being really good and trying her best !
