Sorry for a very poor performance by most of the teams yesterday. In a 6-2 loss against Dipton. We could blame the weather, but it was the same for both sides. So that ends a rather disappointing season. Still we now have 2 cups to play for starting next week. So if you want to play get your name on the wall in the clubhouse.

Well done everyone who played yesterday. A great result against a good Leadgate side. Unfortunately once again struggling to get a full team out. I can't understand why some players find playing with 2 Bowls is not what they want to play with. Surely the club is the most important thing and the support is more important than their how can I say their feelings. 6-2 result.

The game against a good side. But not a great side in Consett Park. Was lost 6-2. Which unfortunately leaves us in second place in the cup.
But now for the good news. No great news. A FANTASTIC result in the triples cup. Well done Ernie, Ian and Skip Derrick for the win against yet again the best of Consett Park.

Well done everyone on Wednesday. When I left I thought we were in for a hiding. But as usual I left before the come back against a very good Dipton side. So a 4-4 draw was an excellent result.

Oh! my god what can I say. Was it the weather that beat us or just under performing. Only one team out of 3 won. Mind you it didn't help the fact we were giving away 25% of each team because of the unwilling members not liking to play with only 2 bowls. I am lost for words what to say about those members.

wow! Well done everyone. A fantastic result against the top side in this league Dipton. 10-0. They are now only 7 points ahead of us in this league so can we catch them. Hope so but we do need them to lose one game and us to win the following two left. Well done again.

Well we gave it a try but came a bit short against a very good side Dipton. We must improve for next years comp. Still come on everybody practice practice practice and we will improve. Many thanks for the experience though.

Well What can I say. We gave it our best against top of the table Pelton Fell. The team I was on were against there top team. We gave it a try but were beat 20-15. The other 2 teams were only beat by 1 point. So we lost over all 8-0. Well done every one. Lets get back to winning ways.

What can I say. I am very rarely stuck for words. But the performance yesterday against a very good side in Whitely-Le-Head was outstanding by most of the team. A 6-2 win. By most of the team I must apologize for my performance. It was well below par. We should have won all the points. But that aside we are well up the table I believe. As we never see the tables. This I will as Chairman try and address for next season. Thanks to all.

Well what a day. Fantastic result from the whole team against Sherburn Park 8-2 win. Can I say it was very unlucky to Maurice's team to loose by just 1 point. But yet again well done everyone. Now to the greatest news of all. I went to cheer on our team at Sherburn Park in the cup. What a fantastic result, they won 21-9. Can I say to Erny great performance also an exceptional performance from Ian and skip Derick. They made me a proud to be a member of this club. Thank you and best of luck in the final.

Wow What can I say fantastic result by 2 of our teams. Then we have Alans team 17 all with one end left. The other team Lanchester had 2 on the Jack then Alan played a fantastic shot and scored 2. We took all the points. So well done everyone. May thanks.
