This weekend some of the D&G Masters team travelled up to Glasgow to compete in the Scottish Swimming Short Course Championships at Tollcross International Swimming Centre - the Commonwealth pool 🏊‍♂️🏊‍♀️🏊‍♂️

Congratulations Joan Edwards on a fantastic Championships 🥈🥈🥉

Hope you are now enjoying some R&R in the ☀️

D&G Swim Team's Joan Edwards claimed three podium finishes at the European Aquatics Masters Championships 2026, including silver in the 800m and 400m Freestyle and bronze in the 200m Freestyle.

Two of our past and present coaches have graduated this year so we would like to say a huge congratulations to them both! 🎉

Our Bronze and Comp Dev coach Katie has graduated with a Degree in Sport, Exercise and Nutrition at Northumbria University 👩‍🎓

Jay - who is now the Age Group coach at City of Sunderland ASC is now a Graduate in Sport Coaching and Development with Manchester Metropolitan University 🎓
