Last nights bumper session at Stamford Unity got off to a flyer with a big group warm from Oz, to test our players physical and mental capacities.

Our session then consisted of positional awareness drills, along with dribbling, passing and shooting.

We ended our session with 2 games running side by side, with some brilliant football played and some even more brilliant goals.

Players of the week were won by Josh, nominated by Sam and our new recruit Courtney who was nominated by Luke.

Great to see some more girl power down at Stamford Unity !!

Next week we step away from the pitch to celebrate our 1st Birthday, with a party, kindly organised by Paten & Co

In the evening, we reignited our weekly kickabout sessions after a couple of weeks off.
The session consisted of a competitive dribbling warm up, followed by the reintroduction of the Stamford Unity Snake. There were some brilliant and not so brilliant attempts at getting the ball all the way through.
We then moved onto some shooting drills, some brilliant goals scored and cat like reactions from Adam in goal. Special mention to Luke who scored a Hat-Trick in this one drill !!!!
We ended up with a brilliant, energetic game with a flurry of goals, but played in brilliant Stamford Unity Spirit, with everyone involved in the game.

Welcome to our new recruit Harvey, and we wish Joe a speedy recovery from his recent operation.

A big day for Stamford Unity with us entering 2 teams in the Lincolnshire Ability Counts
League.

After a couple of teething problems early on, both teams played some great football and scored some brilliant goals.

Plenty of things to work on now that we have 2 teams, but we will get there.

Thanks to Lincolnshire Football Association for inviting us to the league and making us feel so welcome. We are looking forward to next months fixtures already

We then moved into our usual Sunday kickabout session joined by some of the Hampton United Pan Disability squad who had taxi issues and only managed a small part of the game. Hope the guys enjoyed themselves.

Our session was split into 2 groups this week with a more pedestrian session for the match group with some technical drills, followed some one v one sessions and shooting practice. Player of the week was awarded to Hugo who continues to develop into a great player, coach and more importantly friend and teammate, well done Hugo !!

The second group then worked on their dribbling with awareness of who is around them. Followed by some shooting drills and a great enjoyable game with some great goals. We finished the session with a penalty shootout and poor old Sophie Stenson was on the wrong end of some the guys powerful strikes.

We welcomed Riley to the session who brought fun and friendliness and only went and won player of the week on his first session. Well done Riley, great to have you down here with Stamford Unity.

Last night we welcomed Hampton United Pan Disability to our home ground at Stamford AFC, for a great friendly match!

It was a hot one, so plenty of hydration breaks were needed, but it was fantastic to see some real progress from the players. We saw great movement off the ball, brilliant passing play and plenty of attacking action around the goal.

It's incredibly encouraging to see how much the team has developed over the past year, and we're really looking forward to the start of the season and showing just how far we've come!

A big thank you to Hampton for a great match and a lovely afternoon.

What another brilliant Sunday evening session in the sunshine! The players picked up right where they left off last week, working hard on their dribbling skills, target practice, and shooting before finishing with a fantastic training match!

The match was packed with brilliant skills, great passing, loads of determination, and some excellent teamwork from everyone.

A huge congratulations to Ryder, who was named Man of the Match for his strength, determination, and outstanding teamwork throughout the game. A well- deserved award!

A massive shout-out also goes to Mike, who was awarded Coach of the Week for the incredible support, encouragement, and hard work he puts into helping every single player develop each week. You're doing an amazing job, Mike!

Well done to everyone for another fantastic session- we can't wait to do it all again next week!

Player of the Week 🏆

A special post for this weeks player of the week which was awarded to Joe.

Joe impressed during the skills session with his dribbling and accurate shooting.

He then astounded us all with his attitude and bounce back ability after he got a stray ball in the face.

He had a couple of moments to compose himself but then came back all guns blazing.

Joe epitomises everything good about Stamford Unity and a worthy winner of this weeks player of the week, captured in the video.

A cracking evening down at Stamford Unity.

We split into 2 groups to work on some skills and techniques.

The progression from everyone in the group is amazing to see week by week.

Finished by one, big game at the end.

The game was played in typical Stamford Unity spirit, making sure everyone was included in the match.

Such a brilliant, caring bunch of players we have.

SUNDAY FUNDAY

What a brilliant evening at Stamford Unity! We welcomed loads of new faces over the last couple of weeks, and today we had an incredible 22 players on the pitch!

From goal-shooting practice challenges to some fantastic football matches, the energy was amazing from start to finish!

Player of the Match goes to our newest star Ryder! What a debut! Brilliant skills, non-stop chatting, loads of confidence, and an amazing team player already. Welcome to the Unity family!

Our second trophy goes to another superstar, George, who absolutely smashed it tonight! A fantastic effort and a well-deserved award.

Huge congratulations to Ryder and George - you were both awesome!

We can't wait to do it all again next Sunday! Who's joining us?

Meet Lewis

Over the last couple of weeks, Lewis has been checking out what Stamford Unity is all about... and we think he's fitting in pretty well!

From making new friends to experiencing our welcoming, inclusive club, it's been brilliant having Lewis as part of the team.
