Stamford Striders England Athletics Registered with Club Standards. Stamford Striders are an ever growing running club with more than 200 active members.

Whether you're new to running or have some experience, we'd love to meet you and invite you to coming running with us. If you become a member of the Stamford Striders which is only £20 a year you will have access to our members only group

Tuesday 2nd June - Meeting at Borderville Sports Centre as we will be heading out to Ryhall, Tolthorpe and back into town.

We welcome runners to join us on Tuesdays to experience running with our club and give you the opportunity to meet some striders and ask any questions before committing to a membership.

Please note that this is not a 'new to running' session. You should be able to achieve a 37min 5K to be able to keep with the back group for this run.

Our 2026 beginners running course starts on May 6th and runs every Wednesday for 10-weeks! We have qualified coaches that will support you along the way.

Book your place for only £10 (£1 per week). There are limited spaces, so book yours soon!

Bring a friend or share this information with anyone else that is thinking of getting into running or looking to be little more active.

Tuesday 17th March and we are running from Borderville - won't be long now before we get on to summer routes, also won't be long before we switch over to Whats App communities. Still 7pm away in our high viz tops of course. It is fair week in Stamford so our route keeps us away from the town centre but still do please expect extra traffic on the footpaths and on the roads. Take extra care.

Tuesday 17th February - we are running from THE CATTLE MARKET due to footy match at the othert place. 7pm away in our sparkliong hi viz tops, it won't be as wet as the 30k even if the 0% rain forecast is wrong !!!

Tuesday 27th January - we are running from Borderville this week as already pushed out on Strava. Hi viz tops please, 7pm away.

Tuesday 20th January - we will be running from the Cattle Market due to a football match at the other place. 7 pm away in our high viz tops. If you are on Strava you can link up to Striders to our new Strava club group, easy enough to get a free Strava account.

Tue 13th January. To help with our new Strava initiative (thank you Matt Ginieres !!!) we are publishing slightly earlier than normal. Borderville say we are pretty safe to publish on Friday or Saturday. So on Tue 13th we will run from Borderville. Do check back here after the weekend just in case of a late change.

Tuesday 6th January, time to burn off the last remnants of the holiday season. This week, subject to underfoot conditions, we are running from Borderville in our (padded🥶😂)high viz / reflective tops. 7 pm away of course 🙂
