Bog Dog’s Laura was at the Sawtry 10 on Sunday, here are her thoughts on this brilliant local race:

‘Medal Monday! Belated….. Off to Sawtry on Sunday I went.
One of my favourite club events as the Sawtry run group are such a lovely bunch of people. We support their event with our Marquee full of those ‘ooopsie daisy’ moments when you guys and girls realise you’ve forgotten your favourite gel. Or just want a new cap to keep the sun off yer bonce.

Was lovely to see lots of familiar, friendly faces there. It got a bit warm didn’t it! A lovely atmosphere as always and I ADORE those hills……😂
Matched a PB from 2 years ago - so not a bad day in the office.

It’s the Sawtry 10 this Sunday 💙

10 glorious undulating miles and one of the few local 10 mile races , the Sawtry 10 is a great challenge pre Great Eastern.

Ran by the brilliant team at Sawtry Running Club, Bog Dog’s Laura will be there to enjoy the event 🏃‍♀️🏃🏻‍♂️ and have the Marquee for those last minute race day essentials!!

Did you watch the European Championships last week? 🥇

Bog Dog’s Laura and Helen were very lucky to attend Friday night courtesy of the lovely guys Joma Sport UK (watch out for Joma at Bog Dog in the near future).
There were some fantastic performances by Zharnel Hughes and Keely Hodgkinson plus Karsten Warholm of Norway in thr 400m hurdles 🏃‍♀️🏃🏻‍♂️.
