What ever your ability or experience there’s a place at Stamford Women for you, even if you’ve never played and want to try it out.

The group of women are welcoming, engaging, fun, caring and supportive. You’d be joining a hell of a team but also gaining a fantastic network of peers.

SUMMER TOUCH RUGBY IS HERE !!

Everyone is welcome for some fun in the sun with a great mix of people. Whether you're looking to keep fit, meet new people, or simply throw a ball around, these sessions are for you!

Touch rugby is also a fantastic introduction to the game, with no previous experience needed.

A very special mention was given on Saturday to Lottie, one of the first 1st XV players to come through the girls section of the club💜

Lottie started playing at U5s and continued playing alongside the boys until U12s where she had to stop due to no local girls’ teams and a global pandemic. Despite this, Lottie joined the girls team when it was newly formed, continuing to develop her rugby skills.

More recently Lottie has played games with the merged and team to have some valuable minutes on the pitch.

However, after months of training, where possible - the NLD Cup final saw Lottie make her senior women’s debut and we couldn’t be more proud!

Some fabulous photos captured by Lotties dad includes Vaughn and Emma, the girls section coaches who came to support! A full circle moment for all involved🤍
