We are excited to welcome you all to the NW Bench & NW Masters 2026.

⭕️ The schedule has been designed with the venue capacity in mind. The link is in our bio.

⭕️ Please turn up for your weigh-in on time (not early). You will be weighed in the order as per the schedule. Please have your British Powerlifting membership card ready, and your opening attempts for each lift. Be as quick as possible when weighing in, i.e. untie shoelaces, remove additional layers beforehand, and no catch ups / life stories when you’re in there.

⭕️ If you do not make weight, you may lift as a guest. This means you cannot medal but you may use your total for a QT.

⭕️ Please use the designated talc area only, otherwise you will be asked to leave.

⭕️ Parking is available on-street, however, do not park in front of the houses opposite the venue, or in front of gates or shutters.

⭕️ Refreshments will be available to purchase, such as tea, coffee, soft drinks, energy drinks and toasties. We accept cash or cards.

⭕️ Each lifter will be permitted one coach who will be issued with a wristband to access the warm up & holding areas. Please be courteous in the warm up areas, work in with other athletes & coaches, and ensure to re-rack weights and strip the bars for the next flight.

⭕️ Spectators are welcome (£5 fee payable on the door, cash or card), however, will be dictated by venue capacity. Access is via steps only.

⭕️ The event will be live streamed on the North West Powerlifting YouTube account free of charge.

⭕️ The official media team is . No other professional cameras (cameras with detachable lenses) are permitted.

🇲🇹 This Sunday will be lifting at the EPF European Bench Press Championships 2025 in Valletta, Malta. She will be lifting off at 14:30pm UK time in the u84 Open category.

Tomorrow co owner Kim Cowell competes in the Western European equipped championships, in Finland. Kim has been looking very strong in training and the rest of the team at are wishing her a massive good luck and can’t wait to see what she does tomorrow!!!
