And just like that… we’ve reached the final games of the 2026 season — a very special season as we celebrate 100 YEARS OF WRAYSBURY CRICKET CLUB! 🎉🏏

What a year it has been! From the cricket on the field to everything that has happened away from it, 2026 has created memories that will stay with us for years to come.

We’ve celebrated victories, battled through tough days, welcomed new friendships and new family members, watched players develop and achieve new milestones, and shared countless laughs, stories and moments together. 💙💛

Our 100th Year Cricket Week was the perfect celebration of everything this club represents — community, friendship, family and a shared love of the game. 🦢

Now there’s just one final weekend left.

Four teams. One last push. One final opportunity to put everything out there and finish this incredible centenary season on a high.

Whatever happens on the field, we can look back on 2026 with immense pride in what we have achieved together.

🏏 FINAL WEEK OF LEAGUE CRICKET – OUR 100TH YEAR! 🦢💙

We’re heading into the final league games of our 100th year, and there’s still plenty to play for across all four teams!

🔥 1ST XI – WHAT A WIN!

The 1st XI come into the final week on a real high after thumping Amersham CC and winning by 3 wickets!

A sensational batting display saw:

💥 Harshad Cilwani – 81 off just 35 balls!
💥 Akshay Powale – 69
💥 Mustafa Ahmed – 51

And with the ball, Gurkirat Kainth was outstanding, finishing with 4/33 from 7 overs. 👏🔥

A fantastic team performance and exactly the kind of momentum we want going into the final game of the season!

⚔️ 2ND XI – EVERYTHING TO PLAY FOR

After last weekend’s washout, the 2s know what they need to do.

A win is vital to stay up.

It’s all on the final game. Time to dig deep, fight for every run and every wicket, and get the job done! 💪

💙 3RD XI – FINISH STRONG

The 3s are secure, but that doesn’t mean the job is done!

Let’s finish the season on a high, put in one final big performance and finish with a WIN! 🏏🔥

🦢 4TH XI – ONE FINAL PUSH

It’s been a tough season for the 4s, but we’re already looking ahead.

Next season will be about recruitment, rebuilding and coming back stronger. But first, we need to get through one final game!

🙏 Let’s hope we can get a full 11 players out there for the final week and finish the season together.

We’re into the final three league games of the season, and there’s still plenty to play for across all four Wraysbury sides! 🦢🔥

1ST XI — FULL OF CONFIDENCE! 💪
After a massive victory over league leaders Burnham last weekend, the 1st XI will be full of confidence heading into Saturday. Can the boys carry that momentum forward and finish the season strongly? The final three games are all about building on that performance!

2ND XI — TIME TO FIGHT! ⚔️
The 2s know they need a massive shake-up if they are going to avoid relegation this season. With just three games remaining, every run, every wicket and every point counts. Now is the time to dig deep, fight for the badge and give everything they’ve got!

3RD XI — CAN THEY DO IT AGAIN? 🔥
After putting up a massive total last week, the 3rd XI welcome Ruislip 2nd XI this weekend. Confidence will be high after that outstanding performance, and the 3s will be looking to keep the momentum going and finish the season on a high.

4TH XI — BACK ON THE FIELD! 🏏
After the challenges of recent weeks, the 4th XI have managed to get a team out and are looking forward to getting back onto the field! With three games left, the goal is simple — enjoy the cricket, compete hard and finish the year on a high. 💙💛

🏏 WCC WEEKLY RESULTS | WHAT A WEEKEND! 💙💛

Another weekend of league cricket is in the books, and there was plenty to celebrate for Wraysbury with some fantastic individual and team performances! 🦢🔥

1ST XI — WIN! 🏆
A brilliant performance from the 1s as they posted 145 all out before bowling Burnham 2nd XI out for 125, securing a 20-run victory! 💪
⭐ Harshad Chelwani — 3/35
⭐ Waqas Khan — 3/24
A great team effort to come away from the league leaders with the points!

2ND XI — NARROW DEFEAT
The 2s put 210 all out on the board, but Datchet 2nd XI chased it down, finishing on 213 to win by 5 wickets.
A disappointing result, but plenty for the boys to take forward as the fight continues.

3RD XI — MASSIVE WIN! 🔥🔥
What a performance from the 3s! 377/7 is an outstanding total, before bowling Little Marlow 1st XI out for just 168, securing a huge 209-run victory! 🏏💥

After another action-packed weekend, all four Wraysbury sides are back in league action this Saturday! 💙💛

1ST XI | AWAY 🚌
The 1st XI make the trip to Burnham 2nd XI, who are having an incredible season and currently sit top of the table. Wraysbury currently sit 7th and know they face a huge challenge, but this is exactly the type of game where the lads can make a statement. Can the 1s upset the league leaders? 👀🔥

2ND XI | HOME 🏡
A local derby awaits as the 2nd XI welcome Datchet 2nd XI to Wraysbury. After a crucial victory last week, the 2s will be looking to make it 2 wins from 2 and continue their fight to stay clear of the relegation places. A massive game for the boys! 💪

3RD XI | AWAY 🚌
The 3rd XI travel to Little Marlow 1st XI, who have conceded defeat in their last two fixtures. Can the 3s take advantage and make it another positive weekend for Wraysbury? After some strong performances recently, the lads will be looking to put another win on the board! 🏏

4TH XI | AWAY 🚌
The 4s head to Ickenham 4th XI. With relegation already confirmed, the young lads should head out there with one simple message — enjoy your cricket! 🙌 Play with freedom, have fun, learn, and enjoy representing the club. There is still plenty to be proud of and plenty to look forward to!

After an unforgettable 100th Year Cricket Week, it’s back to league action this Saturday as all four Wraysbury sides take to the field. The celebrations may be over, but there’s still plenty to play for as we head into the business end of the season.

The 1st XI will be looking to bounce back after two consecutive defeats. The last meeting with Gerrards Cross ended in a washout, so both sides will be eager to get a result this time around. Can the lads return to winning ways in front of the home support?

🚗 2nd XI vs Ruislip 1st XI

A huge game for the 2nd XI. Sitting at the bottom of the table, every point matters in the fight to avoid relegation. The squad knows what’s at stake and will need to battle for every run and every wicket as they look to kick-start their survival push.

The last fixture between these two sides was washed out, but this weekend promises another exciting contest. Sitting two places above Slough, the 3rd XI know a win would be a massive boost. Confidence is high after an outstanding victory over Uxbridge last week, with superb performances from Nishant and George leading the way. Can they make it back-to-back wins?

Our **100th Year Anniversary Cricket Week** comes to a close today, and there’s only one way to finish it... by welcoming back **The Fiddlers!** 🦢💙💛

Cricket Week simply wouldn’t be complete without this fixture. It’s a match that everyone looks forward to all week, bringing together great cricket, plenty of laughs, old friends, and the perfect way to round off an unforgettable week of celebrations.
