Today’s session is all about ball control.
The main practice is all the different variations of the V turn which is used to get away from a defender as well as to create space and change direction.
The key to mastering any technique in football is consistency and practice where and when ever possible, whether this is in a match or in training.
This skill is a great one to learn as it is very simple but still effective if performed correctly.
The only equipment you will need is a football and a cone.⚽️☀️👍🏻

No matter the weather here at SGElite coaching we continue to train! Had a great session today with a 2 regular clients they were both happy to train in the pouring rain here at the llamas park staines!

Coaching point:
Changes of speed and direction are an essential part of attacking football especially when it’s a counter attack as the element of speed gives the attaching team an advantage as the defending team are not in shape and are outnumbered.
Changes of direction are key for loosing a player and this is the same then you have the ball and when you are wanting to receive the ball.
