☀️ Extreme Heat Reminder ☀️

Due to the current extreme heat warnings, please ensure that all children bring a water bottle with them to their gymnastics session
Following current government guidance for schools, it may be beneficial for children to wear light, loose, comfortable clothing, such as shorts and a loose-fitting top. Please ensure that clothing remains suitable and safe for gymnastics activities.

To help keep everyone comfortable and safe during sessions, we will be making the following adjustments:
💧 More frequent water breaks throughout the session. Children can request a drink at any time. Children may also take a short break near a fan to cool down whenever needed.
🤸 Activities may be adapted to be less strenuous if deemed necessary.

We will continue to closely monitor both the children and the temperature throughout the day and make any further adjustments required to ensure everyone's wellbeing.

At Stafford Leisure Centre, we run a fun, inclusive gymnastics session designed for children and young people of all abilities.

Our SEN & Disability Gymnastics sessions focus on:
💜 Building confidence

😊 Having fun in a supportive environment

❕Gymnastics Blocks Available to Purchase❕
A reminder that all squad and mini acro will need their own blocks and should bring them to every training session unless told otherwise by one of our acro coaches.

Blocks are a fantastic training aid, helping gymnasts to develop:
⭐️ Balance & Stability
⭐️Body Alignment & Posture
⭐️Strength & Control
⭐️Confidence in Skills.

They are not just useful to those in acro! Having a set at home is great way to practice, reinforce technique and develop between sessions! 🤸

Blocks will also be available to purchase from one of our friendly coaches at our upcoming in-house competitions, so be sure to grab a set while you're there! 🏅

We look forward to seeing our gymnasts putting them to good use both in their sessions and at home! 🏠
