A lovely sunny 5k your way at Isabel trail this morning 😃 keeping active is always positive but when you have a cancer diagnosis research shows it helps with general well being, is psychologically beneficial and can help with prognosis. TEENAGE AND YOUNG ADULT CANCER AWARENESS MONTH
We are proud to support Teenage & Young Adult Cancer Awareness Month in April at the Isabel Trail parkrun event.

- If you are a young person living with or recovering from cancer or the parent/carer of a young person living with or recovering from cancer, please join us for a free, online Q&A to find out how being active can support treatment and recovery, boost confidence and help both your physical and mental health.

A sunny but cold and windy parkrun on the Isabel Trail B route today. 290+ runners and walkers. I managed a couple of good conversations regarding exercise and cancer recovery. We‘ll be back next month, which will be a special event so keep an eye out for updates.

I‘m looking forward to Saturday for the March 5KyW event, I don‘t have the flag to put up but I‘ll be at the usual meeting point for anyone coming to join me. I hope to see you there.
