Captain’s Cup Report

The competition started off in good weather conditions, a lot more playable than the recent hot weather we have had. There was a mixture of new players and experienced players. With some good bowling from everyone. With the semi finals between Tim Fisher vs Stuart Halley & John Cussons vs Christine lawson. Stuart winning 21- 14 & John winning 21-12. The final was won 21-10 by Stuart Halley who had played well all day,a deserved winner, well done to Stuart and John. A well done also to Christine Lawson for some excellent bowling of which the score against john doesn't reflect the way she played. Congratulations to Tim who played well all day. All in all a great day. Thank you everyone.

Non Winners Trophy

Another great comp, great atmosphere loads of new players developing their skills with established players. Loads of help from Louise, Sandra Dave B , Elly, Lesley and Lyn plus all the markers and measures. Ian had an excellent tournament ending in a good win against Elly., Let's look forward to our next comp, the captain's cup.
