We're just two weeks away from an incredible weekend of racing at the Lloyds National Marathon Championships and the National E-MTB XCO Championships in Newcastleton.
Whether you're already entered or still thinking about joining us, here's what's waiting for you...
🏃 Saturday 15 August – Newcastleton 10km Trail Run
This isn't your average trail run.
Expect flowing singletrack, technical descents, challenging climbs and breathtaking forest scenery around Rock UK.
And to finish? We're hoping to include an unforgettable zip wire finish across the finish area!
Whether you're chasing a PB or simply looking for an amazing day on the trails, this is one you won't want to miss.
⚡ Saturday 15 August – National E-MTB XCO Championships
Be part of history at the UK's National E-MTB XCO Championships.
We've designed a purpose-built course that rewards both technical skill and smart battery management in a thrilling 2-hour race.
🏆 National Championship jerseys for the first male and female riders
🥇 Medals for 1st, 2nd and 3rd
🚵 Riders of all ages racing together

Back for our third year in Newcastleton—and the course is better than ever.
New for 2026:

✅ Brand-new sections built by the Rock UK team
✅ Even more flowing singletrack
✅ A redesigned start loop...
❌ ...and yes, the infamous opening climb is gone!

A fun introduction to mountain bike racing for the next generation.
• Around 20 minutes of riding
• Dedicated XCO course
• £5 entry

Not racing for a national title?
Ride the same fantastic championship course at your own pace.
✔ Open to riders aged 16+
✔ Analogue and e-bikes welcome
✔ No British Cycling licence required
✔ Two laps of the full championship course
