A much changed XI arrived at Evans Park today for a crucial clash with Port Vale and they delivered exactly what was needed.

A superb first‑half display sealed all three points, with goals from Cathy and Kim. Kim capped off her first appearance for Stafford in style, commanding the back line and earning a well‑deserved Player of the Match award.

A massive win when it mattered most.

After a hard few months with injuries and numbers we put in a much better performance today.

Second game in the league vase and we went ahead with a goal from Kirst. 1-0 at half time.

Unfortunately we let stone back into it in the second half and ended up 4-3 with goals from Ash and Sharni not enough to grab the points.

A much better team performance than recent games though and we’ll look to build on it moving into the second half of the season.

Player of the match goes to Liv who played every position on the pitch and was quality all over. Unlucky not to get a goal herself!
