🎣 New PB for Pete! 🎣

Pete landed this cracking 33lb 8oz common from Peg 1 Quarry, setting a new personal best in the process. 🐟💥

The fish was caught at 13 wraps to the first willow tree on a Helicopter Rig, with an Oxford Bait Company LTK balanced 14mm hook bait fished over RH Wicked Tuna 12mm baits.

A great result and a PB that's well worth celebrating!

Izak enjoyed a fantastic session on Bridge Pool from Peg 5, landing six carp including a 35lb common, a 30lb mirror, two 28lb mirrors, a 25lb and a 23lb common. 🐟💥

A real mixed bag of quality fish and a session most anglers would be delighted with!

All of the fish fell to Spinner Rigs fished with CC Moore NS1 pop-ups over a DNA Bug mix feed.

Bobby sent in these catches from a session on Middle Pool from Peg 53. 🐟💥

The fish were caught using a mixture of tactics, including Ronnie Rigs and hair rigs fished with Sticky Baits Pineapple & N-Butyric pop-ups, Manilla boilies, corn and solid bags.

It's always interesting to see anglers mixing things up and finding what works on the day.

🎣 Persistence Pays Off on Quarry! 🎣

Karl has been putting the time in on Quarry since March, with a few losses, a couple of smaller fish and more than a few blanks along the way. But there was one goal in mind all along... a new PB common (caught mid May).

Mission accomplished. 🐟💥

After a quiet night, Karl made a move in the morning and managed to get the fish feeding on the surface. When that didn't quite happen, he reverted to a trusted tactic – a 10ft fixed zig with black and red foam fished amongst the mixers.

The result? This stunning 34lb 12oz common and a PB that had been months in the making.
