After another successful AGM and another growth in team numbers, unfortunately we are unable to accept anymore U8's - U11's teams at present as we are at capacity.

We can accept U7's 3v3 teams and teams from U12's to U17's. The deadline for application to those age groups is 31st July 2026.

It is with immense pride that we are sharing the below announcement.

Our President, Mike Barnard had been recognised in the King's Birthday Honours and awarded the British Empire Medal, for his 43+ years service to grassroots football.

Without Mike, who was instrumental in the formation of Mid Staffs Junior League, over 30 years ago, the opportunities for children across Staffordshire to play the game they love would not have existed.

You will all have seen or know of Mike if you have been involved with our League or with grassroots football in Staffordshire and we are sure you will all join with us in congratulating Mike on this deserved honour and to thank him for his tireless service to grassroots football. Congratulations and well deserved Mike!

Applications are open to referees who would like to officiate in Mid Staffs Junior League for season 2026/27.

All games are played on Sundays, with U8's - U11's in the morning and 12's upwards at 12 noon or 2 pm.

The AGM for Season 2025/26 will be held on 15th June, 7.30 pm at The White Eagle Club, Riverway, Stafford with a 7.30 pm start.

All continuing teams and teams wishing to join for next season should attend.

Applications for Season 26/27, need to be submitted by 12th June. Applications may reopen after 15th June, subject to approval at the AGM
