The missing link ⛓️💥
The diet has you dialled in
Steps are secured
Training is hard but you’re focussed, you don’t miss sessions, they might move, you might be fatigued but they get done 👊🏼
Cardio feels gruelling but after 7 minutes in you’re there, through the sweaty eyes you push on
Your diet is consistent, it’s tweaked as needed and you measure to the gram
You find resilience at the start, the early hunger subsides and you find your groove
Later on the new lines, veins and shape keep you going, far past where you thought you could go
You hit the look, you’re happy, but not satisfied
You need bigger quads, wider lats, arms need to be thicker and the delts can always be WAYYYYYY BIGGER
And that’s where it all falls apart
Steps are a distant memory, walks become Netflix binges
Sessions get missed, they become less focussed and the ego steps in
The movements are on a time limit to just get the session done
Your diet becomes a free for all, macros are a guideline and “who cares” if there’s a few more calories here and there
Quickly your “physique” begins to fade
Fat comes on quickly
But it’s offseason
Eat big to get big, right babe?
WRONG
Your physique improves the most when you’re NOT dieting
This is what people forget
The structure you built should not fall away
If that’s not what you want to hear, tough, it’s true
Keeping structure ensures progress
Removes the need to diet again any time soon
It provides a longterm runway of successful muscle gain
It’s the real reason building a relatively enjoyable structure is a focus for me with clients
If it’s enjoyable and repeatable it’s successful over the long term 🧙🏼♂️
