We are a family run Pick Your Own Farm, Shop and Cafe located at the side of the Trent and Mersey Canal in Great Haywood - a beautiful part of Staffordshire. We are committed to sourcing high quality, food and drink from farms and producers within a 30 mile radius of our home, whilst continuing to produce our own fruit, garden vegetables and bedding plants right here on the Farm. nd, our Farm Shop offers a wide range of tasty products for all dietary needs; our Cafe serves home cooked seasonal meals from 'field to plate; our seasonal Plant Centre sells beautiful plants and hanging baskets lovingly nurtured in our own glass house; and we offer 'Pick Your Own' strawberries, raspberries and blackberries during summertime and pumpkins for Halloween! We have some lovely walks and cycle rides which start and finish on our farm, plus host a range of family events throughout the year from murder mystery suppers to creative nature based workshops.

It’s officially pumpkin season! And throughout October, you can join us for a wholesome autumn day out at Canalside Farm, with our Pumpkin Picking Experience open on weekends and selected dates throughout Half Term.
With over 10,000 pumpkins to choose from in all shapes, sizes and colours, there’s a perfect pumpkin waiting for everyone!

NEW this year we have a spooky crazy golf course, so as well as all the returning fun & games you know and love you there will be an additional 9 hole crazy golf course to enjoy...
So come and enjoy a game this spooky season and see if you can get a ghoul in one!

We feel the Autumn Market has come at the perfect time this year with the weather making a definite shift towards more Autumnal temperatures this week! Luckily the market is being held inside, under the cover of our Glasshouse.

Join our 65 local makers, on Saturday 12th & Sunday 13th September from 10am - 4pm both days. Judging by the photos from our Stall Holders - they got the Autumn memo!

So why not grab a seasonal hot drink from the Coffee Hut & have a mooch round our brilliant stalls.

Parking is free for those visiting the Market & well behaved dogs are welcome as long as they are kept on their lead.

So if you are looking for that final taste of Summer, pop down to the Farm from 10am - 4pm tomorrow & for as long as we have strawberries left. We will update our website & put a post on social media once they are finished.

Entry is FREE & there will also be 25% off any fruit picked.

We can't wait to welcome all of our wonderful Stall Holders to the Farm for our Autumn Market on Saturday 12th & Sunday 13th September, from 10am - 4pm, under the cover of our Glasshouse.

With just one week to go preparations are underway to turn the Glasshouse into a cosy, Autumnal & welcoming space.

There will be 64 fabulous, local makers & creators for you to choose from, perfect for any autumnal home decorating you will be doing, gift buying & dare we say early Christmas presents?!

The wait is finally over and TOMROROW at 10am our pumpkin picking tickets will go on sale for all our PUMPKIN PICKING sessions!

Please check out our website for information regarding all our events including our late night sessions with street food vendors and additional entertainment! And for those of you wanting less of the crowds and noise but the same pumpkin picking fun then we have new this year quieter sessions too...

TOMORROW is our EARLY ticket release day for all customers using our LOYALTY APP, Wednesday 2nd September.

So, if you are a Loyalty App Member set your alarms and click on our app from 10am tomorrow to gain early access to all sessions of our Pumpkin Picking Events for 2026.

For all other valued customers, tickets will go on sale from Friday 4th September from 10am via our website.

Our website has more information about our events this year, but take a look at the photos on this post for a brief description of the different sessions we have to choose from.

🍂AUTUMN IS ON THE WAY🍂

Whilst we are pleased to see a bit of sunshine, cosy season is well and truly here at Canalside Farm! All our beautiful new autumnal pieces are now in and looking fabulous.

Whilst we don’t want the summer to end we are also very much looking forward to getting cosy this autumn and enjoying a PSL or two. With lots of exciting things to come, including our annual pumpkin picking experience!

Our Pick Your Own Experience is now closed.

Those of you who are very observant or eager to keep up with the goings on at Canalside Farm may have noticed our NEW WEBSITE (exciting!). As we are just in the process of launching this we are unable to edit out Farm opening information for today- we are sorry about this! So although it currently says open on our website we are in fact CLOSED Tuesday 1st September. Sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.

We are ready to embrace cosy season here at Canalside Farm after having received the first delivery of some of our wonderful cosy, autumnal home décor.

We have cushions and throws in beautiful autumnal hues, perfect for settling down this autumn.
