Over the past few weeks, one of our students has discovered a real passion for woodworking and the birdlife around the farm.
To nurture both interests, he’s been building a tawny owl box completely from scratch developing his woodworking skills while strengthening his maths through measuring, planning, and precision.

This week, we are recognising the importance of children’s mental health and emotional wellbeing. A child’s ability to learn, grow and thrive is closely linked to how safe, supported and understood they feel.

In our educational setting, we are committed to creating an environment where every child feels valued and listened to. We promote open conversations about feelings, teach positive coping strategies, and help children develop resilience, confidence and self-belief.

Small daily actions — a warm welcome, a gentle check-in, time to talk — can have a lasting impact. By working together with families and our wider community, we can ensure that every child knows they are not alone and that support is always available.
