My Coaching Philosophy -
As an ultra running coach I am committed to making sure the runners I work with receive the best advice and coaching to meet their individual needs. I believe the journey begins with a positive trusting relationship between the coach and runner. A runner should be able to ask questions about their training plan and share what is working and what is not working. As a coach

I recommend workouts and write up training plans, but it is up to the athlete to actually follow those workouts and give me regular feedback so the plan can be tweaked as necessary. I have a strong mental attitude, put to the test through countless ultras. I have supported many runners to achieve their goals as a volunteer at running events and I believe a strong mental attitude can help you achieve beyond your expectations. This is a key area I will address as well as race preparation, pacing and nutrition advice and information on running gear

Training plans are written individually looking at race goals and how to get there.
