As it's Drowning Prevention week, this week we are showcasing our wonderful Mandy.
Mandy started working at St.Neots indoor swimming pool 1988... a true staple to the community.

Mandy has been a Swim Teacher for over 30+ years, currently teaching six days a week. Over her time in the industry, she has gained amazing working relationships with 3+ generations of families. She has qualifications to teach babies, children, adults, SEND, Rookie Lifeguards, Aquafit, and has even taught some of our current staff members how to swim. We would bet money a member of your family learned how to swim in one of Mandy's classes if you're from the area.

She loves to encourage and share her knowledge with others, and to see the progress of swimmers from complete beginners to confident swimmers, some of which have even gone on to teach swimming themselves.

In her spare time, she enjoys doing 1000+ jigsaws. Assisting with major Junior Para-Swimming events, which takes her away once a year to present medals and watch the swimmers progress to Para-Olympians.

Favourite drink: a nice cup of tea.

Andrea is a Fitness Instructor at One Leisure St Neots. Her hobbies include lifting weights, cracking bad jokes, bouldering, cakes and paddle boarding. She also has a big passion for cycling. Andrea is high energy and fairly new to the fitness world but you'll generally find her teaching in the Indoor Cycling studio.
