Tiny Feet with Even Bigger Dreams ☘️✨

I feel so incredibly privileged and lucky to have started September on such a high! 💚

✨ We launched our brand-new Cambridge class and are already loving all the fun, hard work and energy our new dancers are bringing each week!

✨ We ran a hugely successful workshop alongside our friends at The Davey Academy☘️ — always so special to work together and watch our dancers learn and grow.

✨ Across our Children’s and Adult classes, we have welcomed 20 new dancers into our O’Mahony family, with even more new faces joining us over the next few weeks! 🥹💚

It’s so exciting to see our little academy continuing to grow, with tiny feet, big dreams and lots of dancing along the way. ☘️💃🏼

Something borrowed, something blue… something Irish before she says “I do”! ☘️💃🏼👰🏼‍♀️

We had the absolute pleasure of hosting Peta and her bridal party this month for a private Irish dance lesson during her hen weekend! 💚

And, unbeknownst to the bride, her MOH even got a dance dress to add that extra special Irish dancing experience! 😂☘️

We loved everyone’s enthusiasm and hope you’ll be putting those new moves to the dance floor on the wedding day! 💃🏼✨

DIY A DANCE FLOOR WITH US 🤣

How a quick trip to our local Starbucks somehow turned into two trips to … we’ll never know. 😂

But we’re officially one step closer to creating our very own home dance studio! 💚

The dream? A dedicated space to run private lessons one day… and, just as importantly, somewhere for our teacher to make up new steps instead of taking over her kitchen! 🤣🕺

We are so excited to announce that O’Mahony Academy of Irish Dance is expanding to Cambridge!

From September 2026, we’ll be bringing our fun, inclusive and supportive Irish dance classes to Trumpington, welcoming children aged 3+ and dancers of all abilities.

✨ Learn new skills
✨ Make lifelong friendships
✨ Keep active while having fun

🗓 Mondays
⏰ 5:00pm – 6:30pm
🎉 First class FREE!

Whether your child is taking their very first steps into Irish dance or looking to develop their skills, we’d love to welcome them to our growing dance family.

A huge thank you to Katie and the entire team at for such a fantastic feis! Everything ran so smoothly, the competition was ahead of schedule, and all of the thoughtful personal touches made for a wonderful day. Our team of eight had an amazing time in Birmingham!

Feis highlights from a fun weekend ✨

❤️ Mila – Judges Dancer of the Day 🥺 what an incredible achievement, we are all so proud of you!

❤️ Charlotte – Your first time doubling in championships and placing 8th/20 in your Heavy Reel! Absolutely incredible progress.

Alongside your ever-flowing talent, you are so incredibly deserving of this WIN. You always find the best ways to learn, adapt around a busy family life, and still give 100% every single class.
