Each month we host a social to bring the members of our community together outside of the studio.

This helps to strengthen friendships, support and psychological wellbeing.

This month’s social was hosted by coach Tash (a pub quiz regular!) and the teams got some great scores 👏🏻

On Sunday 31st May we welcomed Verity into the studio for our Wellness Morning 🧘‍♀️ 🧘

We had 4 wellness sessions, focusing on breath-work, movement and meditation - helping our members to unwind, connect with their body and rest.

We believe health and fitness is more than just physical fitness, we must also ensure we are looking after our psychological wellbeing.

Thank you to Verity for coming along and joining our community for the day. Everyone loved the sessions 🫶🏻

Here are our top 4 ways to keep your bones strong and healthy as you age:

1️⃣ Strength training and weight bearing exercise - as we put ‘stress’ on our bones through exercise, new bone growth is encouraged! Keeping the bones nice and strong.

2️⃣ Calcium - ensuring you get sufficient calcium through the diet is vital, as calcium is the main building block for strong bones

3️⃣ Vitamin D - ☀️ this is what helps us to absorb the calcium we need to build stronger bones

4️⃣ Protein - our bones are partly made up of protein, so we need to consume enough of it to keep them strong. Protein also helps with our muscle mass, which further protects our bones
