It has been a bit of a slow start for me this season, with too many projects on the go Ive had very little time to get in the water. But last night I had a spare half hour after work and even tho the Viz was abysmal I took the opportunity and jumped in to try out the fins4u fury gun I purchased last year and I must say I'm very happy with it, tracks well in the water, good power and very accurate!!!
Viz was as expected and I could see maybe 50cm past the end of my gun, so I didn't hold much hope of seeing any fish. But I pushed out to a little reef I knew usually held bass took a minute to relax and breath up after my swim then after one last big deep breath I descended down into the murky Welsh water. Once at the bottom I made a few croaks to see what I could call in and within seconds I saw a few big shadows rush towards me through the murky kelp forest, i was fortunate enough that this silver bar decided to swim straight at the end of my gun and then turned and stopped as if it was giving me a free shot. Safe to say I took it and secured a perfect holding shot just behind the gills.
I feel the hoodies brought me some good luck. Happy hunting ππΉ
