St Andrews United is a Scottish semi-professional football club based in St Andrews, Fife. The club's home ground is The Clayton Caravan Park Recreation Ground. United currently plays in the East of Scotland League First Division. The club's greatest achievement was winning the Scottish Junior Cup in season 1959–60, defeating Greenock Juniors 3–1 in front of 34,603 f

ans at Hampden Park. Average home gates are about 100, with more for big cup ties. The club also has a good away-support, with a small band of regulars who follow the team across the country. Nickname: United / Saints

Good News/Bad News coming out of The Rec this weekend . . . . . . .

Starting with the latter:
Lewis Craik has left Saints. The 'wee man' has been a key player around the club for the last two years due to his tireless work in midfield coupled with an eye for goal. A popular figure with the fans and fellow players, Lewis scored 14 goals in 69 appearances for United. As such, Craik will be missed in North East Fife but he's close to getting a new club in his native Dundee.

Now for the good news:
We have signed Ryan Shanks from Bo'ness Athletic. Ryan is a 30 year old defender who won Bo'ness Athletic's supporters' player of the season award at the end of the 2024/25 campaign. The former Dunipace defender was skipper of Bo'ness Athletic last term and he will be a very welcome addition to our squad.
