Hello Hello ZUMBA people,
It has been YONKS since I was on here. I think 2014 was my last post. A lot has happened since then. Let me fill you in. I started off my Zumba journey in a small village hall participating as a member. Loving Zumba this much I thought I might give the training a go! Encouraged by many others, I did so and here I am YEARS later still loving every minute. Back in 2014 I was running my classes in Dundee, Ardler Sports Centre. This was with many friends, colleagues and locals. I was then contacted by St Andrews University to cover some Zumba classes for holiday cover, which I was then asked to take on a regular basis. FRIDAY was my Zumba baby, every week I practiced many routines in my wee Dundee flat, harassing my flatmate Kirsty Lathangie. I ran both the Dundee and St Andrews classes for a while and decided as time led on I would just concentrate on my St Andrews one.
I found myself covering a few more classes and wishing for another class of my own. After bugging my manager too much he decided to give me the opportunity to start another class. Around the same time a third class became available.
The best part about this job is meeting so many different people and being part of their day. Throughout this time I have done countless classes, fundraisers, events, birthday parties and most recently ZOOM classes. Here are a few memories along the way.
If you see yourself featured in one of these photos, a BIG thank you for being part of the PARTY!
