Sandy has worked with me as a mechanic for a couple of years, and is now about to undertake a marathon cycle.

Sandy Bond is cycling the perimeter of UK's four nations to raise funds for us and his next challenge starts on 23rd May when he'll be setting off for his Scotland cycle from the Cairngorm to Coast with Outfit Moray finish line in Lossiemouth.

Sandy credits his activties with us for shaping who he is today and wants to give back so other young people can have the same opportunities he had when he was at school.

It's full steam ahead on the bike rentals and guided ride season!

We had 16 guests out on a tour of the Golf Courses this afternoon; here they are crossing the Old Course at Grannie Clark's Wynd.
I counted them out, and I counted them all back in again.

The Gilvenbank Hub supports the community around Cadham in Glenrothes. When I was checking their bike fleet for Bikeability last week, an older lady joked to me that she'd need a trike as she couldn't go a bike any more.

No sooner said, than done!

7 e-bikes were out at the weekend, with a delightful family from California. They explored the East Neuk on a glorious day, and ate the obligatory fish & chips by the seaside.

Then I got this lovely e-mail:

'Thank you for an amazing day! Your service is excellent!! Thank you for picking up my son and his fiance! Even though they cut their ride short, they had an amazing experience and time. They reported to us, that you were so kind!!!

It was beautiful!

The rest of us had an amazing ride!

Thank you!!'

Due to Uncle Jim's advanced age, our Pipeland Road workshop will shut its door on Tuesday 15 April.

For this summer at least, we will continue with our bike rentals & tours, and selling bikes from our warehouse. As I will not be working every day, it is essential that customers give at least a day's notice if you need us for these.

In the meantime, we are very busy working Mon, Tues and Thursdays only until 15 April, so booking an appointment for us to repair or service your bike remains highly recommended to avoid disappointment or a wasted journey.

Remember those kids' bikes we advertised a couple of weeks back? I hope they'll find a good home now in time for Christmas!
