This is an exciting time to become involved. Over the last few years, we've secured significant investment into the Recreation Ground, including our fantastic new **2G sports facility**, a project worth over **ยฃ400,000**, which is already being enjoyed by football clubs, schools, community groups and many local residents.
But we're not stopping there.
We have ambitious plans to continue improving the Recreation Ground for everyone in Spilsby, and we'd love more local people to be part of that journey.
You don't need any special qualifications or previous committee experience. If you care about our community, have ideas to share, or simply want to give something back, we'd love to hear from you.
Our committee meets just **5โ6 times a year**, and every member brings something different. Whether you can offer experience, enthusiasm, practical skills, fundraising ideas, business knowledge, or simply a fresh perspective, your contribution could make a real difference.
This Recreation Ground belongs to our community, and its future should be shaped by the people who use it.
