Elite UK Martial Arts is an organisation throughout the North East, consisting of 14 classes a week across 7 locations. Not only does this provide a vast choice for new starters, it means our current students are not limited to their main club.

We understand that life can get in the way, and being restricted to training on specific days isn’t for everyone. That's why we encourage you to explore our clubs and find what works for you.

For our Green Belts and above, we strongly recommend training at least twice per week to help maintain and develop your skills, fitness and progression. With classes running across multiple venues and days, it's easier than ever to fit that extra session into your schedule. 📅

🥋 ELITE UK INSTRUCTOR CERTIFICATION — OUR LEVELS

At Elite UK Martial Arts we have developed instructor certification in which Instructors follow through a structured pathway that combines our own in‑house training with the formal requirements set by the BMABA. This ensures every coach meets both Elite UK standards and nationally recognised expectations.

⭐ Level 1 – Assistant Instructor
Supports classes, learns coaching fundamentals and assists with safe session delivery.

⭐ Level 2 – Club Instructor
Leads classes independently, delivers structured sessions and ensures student progression.

⭐ Level 2s1 – Specialist Fight Coach
Coaches sparring, fight development, ring‑craft and competition preparation.

⭐ Level 2s2 – Specialist Musical Forms Coach
Teaches freestyle forms, choreography, timing and performance skills.

⭐ Level 3 – Lead Instructor
Oversees club operations, instructor mentoring, technical standards and drives club development, ensuring long‑term growth and quality across the club.

Each year EUMA have two instructor training sessions to ensure CPD is maintained and the standards are current!

This pathway keeps our coaching consistent, professional and aligned with the highest standards in UK martial arts. It also ensures the future of our sport right up to the highest level of oversight!
