The journey of Salamander Taekwondo began when I was looking for a method to maintain my sisters training in top quality Olympic style Taekwondo. The club started small but has always had strong foundations thanks to family and friends providing the best support. Since its creation, Salamander Taekwondo has gone from strength to strength and is now operating in Tow Law, Spennymoor and at Newcastle

University. Our targets are being met, providing an opportunity for all to try different aspects of WT (World Taekwondo) style Taekwondo. We provide Traditional Taekwondo, Olympic Style Sport Taekwondo and General Fitness classes. Whether your target is to take up regular recreational exercise, lose weight or even compete at the highest level of Taekwondo competition, we can help you achieve your goals. British Taekwondo is the National Governing Body for Taekwondo in the UK.
