More recently, the club moved out of town to Glen Park, Surfleet with clubhouse facilities at next

door Tonic 44 Community Café. The club is the largest in Lincolnshire, fielding 7 adult teams each week in competitive leagues, and also runs a vibrant and successful junior section. The club prides itself on being a family friendly, social club, who welcomes people from all walks of life. Like most sports clubs, Spalding HC is run by volunteers who put a tremendous amount of hard work and effort into ensuring the club runs and operates for the benefit of all.

Spalding Ladies 1st 11–1 Bourne Deeping

What a fantastic way to start the season! 🏑

Spalding 1st took on Bourne Deeping in their first game of the season and came away with an impressive 11–1 victory.

Despite going into the game without a goalkeeper, the team showed incredible determination, confidence and togetherness from the very first whistle. The hockey played from the back through to the forwards was outstanding, with some fantastic passing, movement and attacking play on display.

There were also lots of 1st team debuts, and every player stepped up brilliantly. The communication across the pitch was excellent, while the team spirit and support for one another really stood out.

Lily was awarded Man of the Match for an outstanding performance, including some fantastic runs and well-taken goals. A thoroughly deserved award!

A brilliant team performance all round, and a fantastic start to the season. The girls should be incredibly proud of the hockey they played, the way they communicated, and the team spirit they showed throughout.

A fantastic session to return to the pitch for the juniors of the club!
Full of energy, enthusiasm and smiles! Thank you to all the coaches and long may it continue in the season as we watch the juniors of our club grow!

Also a fantastic team of parent volunteers getting use to the set up in our new clubhouse. Throughout the mornings they will be opening the clubhouse to bring you all your refreshments for the morning and after the session! ❤️

🏑 Spalding HC Junior Hockey starts Saturday 5th September! 🏑

Our junior sessions are back, welcoming new and returning players from reception age through to 13.

📅 Starts Saturday 5th September.
⏰ 9:15am–10:45am
📍 Spalding Hockey Club, Glen Park, PE11 4BW

Whether your child is completely new to hockey or already loves the game, our sessions are suitable for all abilities, with friendly coaching and plenty of fun.
