🌧️ Tommy Dog vs. The Great British Weather: A Saga 🌧️
This morning, Tommy took one look outside, saw the rain, and gave me a look of pure disapproval. He flat-out refused his usual walk. Absolutely not. Fur might shrink.
So, I had to outsmart him.
Plan B: "We aren't going for a walk, Tommy. We are going to see the horses!"
Suddenly, he’s all ears. Apparently, getting wet on a pavement is a violation of his rights, but getting wet while doing morning horse checks and sniffing around the yard is an elite-level adventure.

Is anyone else’s pony quite as cheeky as Flossy, or is it just mine?
I was out poo picking just now, and she was literally calling out to me, demanding I move the electric fence back to give her more fresh grass. Mind you, she has already eaten her entire fresh grass allocation for the morning!
The attitude is unreal today. Please tell me I’m not the only one dealing with a demanding pony who thinks they run the yard? Drop your cheeky pony stories in the comments!

The skies over the yard have turned a dramatic shade of dark, the thunder is rumbling in the distance, and the first flashes of lightning are starting to light up the horizon. ⚡
Luckily, all the days chores are officially wrapped up and I’ve managed to finish up just before the heavens open!
Orla is currently out enjoying her grazing, but she’s a smart girl—I’m sure she’ll be heading straight for the comfort of her shelter the second the storm truly hits. 🐴🌧️

​Whether you are looking to tick off a vital coaching milestone or just want to feel safer hacking out, this is for you.

​🌟 Why take the Ride Safe Assessment?

​Essential Milestone: It is a compulsory prerequisite for taking your BHS Stage 1 Riding exam.

​Great for Everyone: It’s not just for exam-takers! This qualification is fantastic for all riders who want to feel confident, safe, and aware when riding on the roads.

​Fast & Convenient: The training and assessment can all be wrapped up in just a single day.

​🚚 I Travel To You!

​Skip the stress of boxing your horse to a busy center. I bring the assessment straight to your yard.

​Location: Based in South Lincolnshire, but willing to travel further afield.

​Who: Available for individual riders or small groups/yards (perfect for a fun yard day!).

​To host the assessment at your venue, you just need:

​Your own horses to ride.

​An arena or a secure field for the initial ridden work.

​Access to suitable, quiet roads nearby to complete the road-route section.
