Morning everyone 👋

Here’s a short video showing how I personally would shoot Stand 9 from last Sunday’s competition. Quite a few people made a mess of this stand, so I thought I’d explain a couple of the reasons why, and how I approached the targets.

I’ve also used Eley Hawk steel shot to shoot these targets and, at these ranges, I found them to perform no differently to lead. I’ll be doing some further testing on longer targets in the future, where the differences in performance may or may not become more apparent.

Hopefully this helps a few of you and gives you something to think about when approaching similar targets in the future.

A fantastic day here today at our 100 reg sporting, with a testing and very much enjoyed round set by John Lee
