U11s Rugby training for the season 2021-2022 will be commencing Sunday 5th September, Drainbank North, PE12 6AF. Following Covid-19 Guidelines.

The sun was shining and the wind was blowing this morning for SRFC U11’s match against PRFC U11’s.
A super performance was put forward from ALL the players.

Commitment, attitude and resilience flowed over the pitch.

A few injuries but these were shook off and the players were back in action - well done boys - just remember how good you are.

Heading towards the end of the rugby season with our heads held high and a spring in our step ready to be U12’s next season.

You should all be extremely proud.

Thank you as always to the parents and siblings that make our rugby family and team possible.

HAPPY MOTHERS DAY 🌸
Hope all of you have had a lovely day today!
We need to give a massive shout out to one of our team - Oscar!
This lad spent yesterday making cakes, sandwich’s, scones, brownies and sausage rolls to put together a Mother’s Day afternoon tea. These were sold to raise money which Oscar has donated again to SRFC
As a team and club, we are extremely proud of this young man.
The brownies were out of this world.

SRFC U11’s had a super day on Sunday at the Landrover cup hosted by Leicester Tigers and Oakham RFC.

The boys put on a strong performance against some tough opponents but they battled on as a team and produced some amazing rugby.
You should all be proud, we are proud of you.

The day finished with cakes made by our very own Oscar, Blasting Bakes - delicious and deserved.

Thank you to Oakham Rugby Club and Leicester Tigers.

We have been a bit quiet over recent weeks but had a full squad showcasing their skills at training this week.

Great to see the team together and preparing ready for a busy few weekends coming up.

Jack Frost visited last night but that didn’t stop our SRFC U11’s pulling out a superb performance against a strong team at Kesteven.

The skills practiced at training were seen today especially during rucks.

We know where we need to place focus on the next training sessions.

The winter weather hit hard on Sunday morning but the sun was still shining. We headed to Boston and played some super rugby.
All the team felt the cold but battled on and shone like the stars they all are. Great tackling and great team work. Keep it up SRFC U11’s! 🏉🐘❄️☀️

WE SHALL REMEMBER THEM!

Today was all about bonding and coming together as a club to mark Remeberance Sunday.

The boys showed their passion for the game with a superb training session 🏉

Followed by placing our thoughts elsewhere for 2 minutes to remember the fallen - which the boys all did with respect and honour.

Sunday, 7th Nov saw Spalding U11’s travel to West Norfolk RFC. Two tough games but a great experience for the boys.
They showed determination, commitment, team spirit and overall enjoyed their Sunday morning growing as a team.
Ready for 2 sessions of training now before a run of fixtures, home and away.
Well done team and thank you parents for your continued support!

SRFC U11’s travelled to Sleaford this morning for their second match of the season 🏉🏉☔️☔️☔️

The rain made an appearance in true rugby style but this did not stop our team of warriors.

Determination along with their passion and team work really was on show today!

Great support from the parents, grand parents and siblings 🙏🏽

We have so much more to give - here’s to the next one team 👊🏽🏉👏🏽
