A great big thank you to everyone who came to support myself and Lady Captain Janet for our Captain's drive in today

Thankfully the weather wasn't as bad as had been forecast and we both managed to get a decent drive away despite the nerves of teeing off in front of everyone!

Thanks to all members who played in the Texas scramble and congratulations to the winning team who came in with a winning score of 52 well played and thoroughly deserved!

Thanks also to our comps team for organising and running the competition and to our Stewards Rachael and Andy for the very tasty butties on arrival. All in all a very good start to the 2026.

Once again a big thank you to everyone involved in making Ryburn's 2026 opening day such a successful day.

What a fantastic afternoon we have had for the Captain's drive and officially opening the course for 2026. This was followed by a mixed texas scramble with a shotgun start from every tee box. Great turn out, great company, and yes Mr Captain a great shot on the first within 2 foot or so of pin! Special thanks to the newly formed comps committee who did a fantastic job organising this comp. The future is bright at this wonderful little golf club.
