Swim England has praised the incredible patience and support of the aquatics community after pools were finally given the green light to start reopening.

Hello to our lovely swimmers. We hope you're keeping busy in the sunshine, at home, and that you're not driving Mum & Dad crazy!
Don't forget to practise blowing bubbles - face in the water, floppy feet splashing in your paddling pools or even the bath - with a parent nearby (to get very wet) 😂 we miss you all and hope to see you all very soon 🤗

I am often asked why, as a retired Police Officer who doesn't 'need' to work, do I teach swimming?
Well, all I can say is I LOVE IT! I love that I can do it properly and in accordance with ASA/Swim GB guidelines. I love that I start with non swimmers and turn them into a competent, confident swimmer before moving them onto Nikki who improves their technique & stamina. I love how proud the parents are watching them grow in confidence which spills over into all aspects of their life. Most of all, it's NOT about the money, it's about giving them the time, encouragement & support they need as an individual for as long as they need it. Every child is unique & has different skills & abilities and we work with that skill set. We are very 'structured', but we have a very special bond with our swimmers..... You don't get that everywhere!!!! We hope you can all return when this is all over. Stay safe, happy and well..... Judy & Nikki ❤️

Hi everyone - Nikki, Maxine and I are missing you all. We hope you are keeping very safe and well and doing some exercises at home to help. If you would like to share a photo of how much you're missing swimming, or a picture you have drawn, please do so.... We have lots of time to look at them all.
Don't splash too much if you're trying out your skills in the bath 💦😁 X
