Learn to Paddle courses
We've places on new Learn to Paddle courses on Thursday evening (starting 23rd July) or Saturday mornings (starting 11th July)

We’ve got a river clean up this Saturday morning (9:30 start) - it would be great to see as many members as possible coming along to help do a clean up on the riverbanks

The next River Clean Up morning is Saturday 6 June, 9.30am-12.30pm. Come and make the Calder beautiful .... coffee, cakes, bin bags, gloves all provided! Meet at the club house. Volunteers Needed - 4 & 5 July
The slalom event that the club are running at Oughtibridge, near Sheffield is fast approaching (4 & 5 July) and we really need volunteers to come along and hep us run the event - and raise money for the club. The more helpers we have the easier it is, and all of the roles are easy to pick up so no previous experience is needed.

Also all profits from the event go to the club to keep your memberhsip costs down - last year's event made over £700, but without volunteers we can't run it!

This is also a chance to have a go at the entry level of slalom - even if you don't like racing its a personal challenge to see if you can do the course on easy white water (easier than at the club).

Your help is needed to help run our slalom across the weekend (and raise funds for the club). You could also have a go to see if you can meet the challenge to get through the gates !

Club Bala Weekend - 12-14 June
If you want to join us on this weekend you need to book the campsite quick!
We've had to release the reserved pitches, so you now need to book direct with the campsite, but as of today there is very limited availability for cmapervans and caravans only. there are other campsite around Bala, so I guess you could stay there and join us for the paddling?
