Congratulations to Will on becoming 2-time Paralympic Champion, alongside his team mates, Rhys Darbey, Poppy Maskill & Olivia Newman-Baronius in the S14 4x100m Freestyle Relay.

All 4 produced some great splits to win GOLD by more than 3sec ahead of Australia and Brazil.

Congratulations to Will Ellard on winning Silver at the Paralympics today in the S14 100m Butterfly.

After swimming a PB in the heat, he dropped again to finish in 54.86.

Part of St Felix School Swimming Club since the age of 11 years old - before this swimming at Beccles Kingfishers. It’s been an incredible journey so far, with much more to come over the next week.

Well done Will.

A day off from racing tomorrow before the 200m Freestyle on Saturday.

William Ellard is set to make his Paralympic debut in Paris despite only turning to the competitive side of the sport less than two years ago.

He will train with the other Team GB members for 6 days until heading to The Village in Paris via the Eurostar on Sunday.

Well done to Amelia on a fantastic debut at English Nationals today. Ranked outside the top-10 coming in, Amelia swam a 2sec PB in the 400m IM to qualify 6th in the 16yrs final tonight.

Tonight she swam a well paced race to finish 6th in 5:16, another 2 seconds faster this this morning.

Well done Amelia!
