Our friends Eastbrook Community Gardeners are hosting a weeding session tonight at the Southwick Community Orchard behind Southwick Leisure Centre, find out more on the post below!

Join us at Southwick Community Orchard for our next weeding and mulching session on Thursday 13th June 2024 7-8pm. Please drop us a line if you plan on coming so we can ensure we have enough tools etc. Bring gloves if you can. Please use the comments section below to indicate interest.

Update - 8th January:
Southern Water have confirmed that the car park for the centre will not be affected by their water main works, so is open for use.

The end of Old Barn Way closeest to the site's entrance is closed for works to take place, so you will need to enter and exit Old Barn Way from the opposite end of the road.

Apologies if this causes any disruption or inconvenience, however, good news that the car park is open for use.

Important customer information:
Southern Water are installing a new water main in Old Barn Way, with works across the entrance way to Southwick Leisure Centre taking place between Monday 8th and Friday 12th January (minimum). As such, the car park for our site will likely be closed and out of use between these dates, or will at least have restricted access between these dates.

The centre will be open while the works are undertaken, so we encourage green ways to travel to your sessions, but please be mindful that Old Barn Way may be closed off too, so please allow extra time to your journeys in case of any disruption.

We apologies for any inconvenience this causes and patience while the works are undertaken, but hope you understand this is out of our control. We will update further when we have any more information.

Due to upgrades to the centre a number of service's will be unavailable from Friday 26th May, more information below:

-Friday May 26th and Monday May 29th: ground floor toilets will be unavailable due to ventilation work – alternative toilets available on the 1st floor

-Thursday June 1st: Female Changing Room and Showers unavailable (installation of new shower pumps)

-Friday June 2nd: Male Showers unavailable and Changing Room will have restricted access due to refurbishment work.
