A massive thank you to the community for helping to raise over 150KGs of food for the Horsham Matters foodbank through our recent Football Foodbank Fundraiser.

These donations are helping those within our community when they need it the most.

Your incredible generosity has now raised over half a tonne of food donations for Horsham Matters since we first started these community games back in 2024.

A special thank you to Caroline Paul for her role in organising and coordinating the day. You've never kicked a football for us, but you'll forever be a club legend.

Today's the day, 3PM at The Ghyll sees a Village Allstars XI take on a Royals XI as part of the Foodbank Football Fundraiser!

We're collecting tins and cans for the Horsham Matters foodbank and would appreciate any and all donations to help out our local community

One week to go until the 3rd annual Football Foodbank Fundraiser game, and we've got some village legends to announce!

Captaining the team is At Home Estate and Lettings Agency legend Paul Davies, back for his third appearance.

Southwater FC stalwarts Skinny, Andy Guy and Sam Ayling form the spine of the team.

Some of the greatest Southwater CC players in Johnny Mills and Alex Harding are swapping their whites for shinpads for the big game.

The safe hands of Perfect Group's Will Poston will be trusted in goal.

Completing the first announcement of legends is the iconic father son duo of Riley and Darren James back for a third appearance.

The game is taking place at 3pm kick off at The Ghyll on Bank Holiday Monday 31st August.

We're collecting for the Horsham Matters foodbank, and last year raised over 200 kilograms of food for the local community. We're hoping to top that this year, details of where to drop off your donations will be shared soon.

Keep your eyes peeled for a massive announcement of a new manager stepping into the dugouts for the Village XI. To call her a village legend is an understatement...

Applications now open to join our Women's League team!

We play in a competitive league, but you'll be guaranteed a friendly welcome by our team.

To build on our debut league season last year, we're looking for a few extra players to join our ranks, especially an experienced goalkeeper!

Training Cancelled

In light of this week’s extreme temperatures, Mini Ballers is cancelled this Thursday.

We know the children loved last week’s session, so we are sorry for any inconvenience and hope they understand.

We look forward to seeing everyone next week, Thursday 2nd July at 5:30pm.

P.S. We do have space for a couple more players, so if you know anyone who would like to join, please ask them to get in touch.

As our next Under 6 team prepares for the upcoming season, we’re holding a series of fun training sessions over the next few weeks.

Our players come from a variety of local schools, all brought together by a shared love of football and sport. It’s a fantastic opportunity to make new friends, have fun, build confidence and, of course, score plenty of goals! 🥅⚽️

Royals Day 2026, Thank You!

Royals Day 2026 was another fantastic success, and we would like to thank everyone who helped make it such a memorable occasion.

Days like these remind us why all the hard work is worthwhile. Seeing so many children enjoying themselves, both on and off the pitch, alongside their football friends is what our club is all about. It was also wonderful to see members of the local community, who are not currently part of the club, joining in the fun and enjoying the day with us.

We must start by thanking our sponsors and those who donated prizes into the raffle, this year we had some unreal donations. A huge thank you goes to all our players, parents, volunteers and, of course, our incredible coaches. Your commitment, enthusiasm and support are what make our club so special. We are extremely proud to be an inclusive, family-focused club that provides football opportunities for everyone in our community.

We would also like to extend our heartfelt thanks to the small team of six volunteers who organised the event. Their dedication, detail and hard work behind the scenes ensured the day ran so smoothly.

With player numbers continuing to grow, next year's event could be even bigger and better. If you attended this year's Royals Day, we would love to hear your feedback. Please share any comments or suggestions below to help us continue improving the event, you can also DM us.

Free to attend and open to boys and girls currently in Reception. Sessions begin on 18 June. Please contact us to register.

⚽ U7 Mixed (Current Year 2)
Following the formation of two teams, we have three spaces available.

⚽ U9 Girls (Current Year 4)
Looking for two additional players, including a goalkeeper.

⚽ U10 Girls (Current Year 5)
Looking for two additional players.

⚽ U11 Girls (Current Year 6)
One remaining place available for an experienced player competing in the top division.

⚽ U14 Mixed (Current Year 9)
Two spaces available for new players.

⚽️ Royals Day – This Sunday! ⚽️

We are really looking forward to seeing our footballing families this Sunday for what is always one of the highlights of the Southwater Royals calendar & my favourite footballing day of the year.

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Extended family and friends are warmly invited to come along and enjoy the day with us. The more supporters, the better!

This year we have plenty to keep everyone entertained, including:

⭐ Two huge inflatables – even bigger than last year!
⭐ A One Bounce Court competition
⭐ A High Score Penalty Shoot-Out Challenge
⭐ Delicious homemade ice cream from a local farm
⭐ Fantastic burgers and BBQ favourites from SK Hutchins

Finally, a huge thank you to all the parents and volunteers who have generously given up their time to help run stalls and activities throughout the day. Events like this simply wouldn’t be possible without your support.

We can’t wait to see you all for a fantastic day celebrating another great season of football.
