Into The Woods Bushcraft Bushcraft Courses and Outdoor Living in the beautiful Sussex Weald Welcome to Into The Woods Bushcraft.

We offer bushcraft, foraging and craft courses, and woodland living from our beautiful 22acre woodland in the heart of the Sussex Weald. Our wood contains a large variety of plant and wildlife in and amongst it's trees ponds and wildflower glades. It is also home to our dedicated all weather campsite with our own 'woodland versions' of all the facilities required for everyday living. Our aims are

that you enjoy your time with us in the woods, and when you leave, you do so with a greater knowledge or understanding of our natural environment which you are able use in your everyday life. In addition to the courses which you will see advertised on this page we also offer bespoke bushcraft courses. Just contact us and we will discuss your requirements and make suggestions if you would like. Bespoke courses need to have a minimum of eight paying participants. We look forward to welcoming you to our beautiful woodland.

We held our first socially distanced BBQ for members of the Burgess Hill Symphony Orchestra at the weekend.
After an indepth risk assessment and introduction of Covid safe practices, modifications to seating areas and provision of extra hand hygiene facilities, we were able to host the event safely and our visitors had a wonderful, relaxed time.

Last weekend we hosted a five course woodland dining experience for a private party of ten, in our secluded outdoor dining area.

The menu included a selection of canapes, served with woodland wines (all brewed in our woodland), a starter of beetroot & sloe cured salmon, slow cooked lamb hung over a fire for main and a vanilla panacotta with blackberry & sloe gin jelly for dessert. We rounded off the evening with a selection of cheese & biscuits, served with our very own woodland port.

This weekend was try out weekend.
The new cover over our dining area protected us from the showers and we tried out recipes for an upcoming woodland dinner.
The roasted whole leg of lamb was delicious.

We were hired out this weekend for a 50th birthday party. We provided a 6kg spit roast pork loin, home made burgers, chicken wings etc etc and plenty of salads. Some guests stayed overnight and we dished up at traditional full English breakfast with plenty of tea.
