This large-scale immersive installation by Architects of Air invites you to explore a luminous, ever-changing environment designed for all ages.

📣12 Sep – Motus Lab
We are offering six selected artists, groups or crews the opportunity to explore how space, sound, movement and their own practices can meet and generate new performance ideas.

📣12 Sep – Ideas Cypher Micro Conference
An afternoon of presentations, panel discussion and networking for movement artists, producers and the wider sector.

📣13 Sep – ºUp: Violin v Football
Fresh from a sell-out five star run at the Edinburgh Fringe 2026, ºUp comes to Portsmouth as part of Rawkus City Festival.

This activity forms part of The Point Is Portsmouth running from June to September 2026, bringing a summer of bold, high-energy events to the city as part of Portsmouth100, the city’s centenary year celebrations. Activities include transforming civic, heritage and community spaces through live performance and shared experiences.

Produced by Crying Out Loud with key support from Arts Council England and Portsmouth City Council the programme spans contemporary circus, large-scale outdoor performance, immersive installations and community-led activity.

TODAY - FRIDAY 8th May, 4–6pm!

We're teaming up with Guildhall Trust as part of Portsmouth100 to bring you a free, fun, and totally open Hip-Hop dance session. The whole family is welcome!

💥 No experience needed
Just great music, great movement, and great people.

We'll be exploring Breaking, Popping, Locking, House, and Hip-Hop freestyle. Hit the open stage, jam with the crew, and pick up a few tips along the way.

🎶 And we've got special guest DJ Alex Orange on the decks bringing Funk, R&B, Hip-Hop and House vibes all afternoon!

🗓️ Friday 8th May, 4–6pm
