Fun introduction to dance - new children’s dance classes in Wimbledon starting this Saturday, 25 April

Karen Forbes School of Dance is introducing two new classes for younger dancers:

Primary Modern – 9:15–9:45
Primary Ballet – 9:45–10:30

A lovely introduction to dance that is great fun and in a structured and supportive environment.

We are excited to announce NEW dance classes that will be taking place at a new venue in Southsea - Trinity Methodist Church. Classes will take place on Mondays and include Pre-Primary Ballet, Primary Modern Dance and an Adult Ballet Class!

A massive CONGRATULATIONS to our five Wimbledon KFSD pupils who, out of hundreds of applicants, have been awarded a place with the London’s Children Ballet. Emily s, Emily K, Jack and Alazoa will be dancing with the main company in the LCB production of Anne at Green Gables (26 – 29 May 2022 at the Peacock Theatre) and Camilla as been awarded a place with the touring company. We cannot wait to see the performances.

We are so proud of all of our pupils who took part in the auditions - well done! 🩰🎉👏

We are so pleased to hear that former Karen Forbes School of Dance Wimbledon pupil, Lizzie Partridge, who is currently studying at Tring Park School for the Performing Arts, will be performing in the English National Ballet's The Nutcracker at the London Coliseum this December 2021.

Huge congratulations to Lizzie! 🩰👏🎉

Over 100 dancers and musicians bring Nutcracker to life with exquisite dancing, beautiful sets and Tchaikovsky’s glorious score played live.
