Well, it's been a while since we posted an episode on Facebook, but I figured it would be good to start this again. We've been busy releasing episodes and posting them on Instagram, but why not here too 😁 On that note, I am super happy to announce Episode 58 with the one and only Steve Bullock , or Grasshopper Steve as many know him on social media! Steve tells us all about his weekly sessions and gives an awesome background to his own running story, training and qualifications. For those who know Steve I am sure you will enjoy this episode and for those who don't, perhaps see you at a Grasshopper track session soon .... πŸ‘

New Episode of the Portsmouth Running Podcast! 🎧

On this weeks show we welcome the wonderful Michelle Maxwell from Maxwell Coaching to chat with David Harvey and Daniel Del Piccolo about the benefits of good running habits, that can make us more resilient runners. Michelle has a highly impressive string of running results to her name, as does her husband and coaching partner Chris. Michelle left us with a bunch of ideas and things to think about with regards to our own running, and not only that but Michelle has been coaching our very own David Harvey already and has helped him grow as a runner significantly over the years.

It was fantastic having Michelle on the show as she is a fountain of running knowledge and has experience coaching many athletes, many from the Portsmouth area too. Please do enjoy this episode and feel free to like, share, comment or even get in touch if there are questions or comments you'd like to tell us about. Thanks!

Daniel & Dave - happy running all! x

Two things we love doing as runners πŸ’™ In this episode we discuss all things RunTalkRun and how it all works and how it began, both as an organisation and for Samuel himself as a runner. Happy New Year everyone! We. Are. Back.

We have a special show recorded all about the South Downs Way. Daniel and Dave welcome guest and awesome trail runner, Alex Murphy onto the show. Alex spends the majority of his weekend training on the South Downs and has a pretty impressive resume of races. We spend most of the freestyle conversation focusing a lot on the area near Queen Elizabeth Country Park, which many listeners will know or be wanting to travel up to, to run.

We are pleased to be back recording and have a ton of content coming this year which we look forward to sharing with you. Best wishes for the new year ahead X

One more episode to come this week before we take a short break away from the podcast 🎀As we runners knows, rest and recovery = super important, and we are really looking forward to launching again with our second season of shows, with more content. It's been a fun journey so far, and we have heard from so many amazing runners πŸ™

I'd like to thank you all so far for listening and supporting the show. Looking forward to coming back just after Christmas. Special thanks and good luck to David Harvey and family for his upcoming time being a dad for the first time ### (I'm sure we'll get some good updates when we return soon!).

Recovery and body TLC - the theme of a new episode on our YouTube channel (linked below). Dan and Dave took a trip over to the The Health Clinic in Osborne road to scope out the unique and amazing therapy technologies they have for repair and recovery, and more importantly, well being. Something we all often neglect. Take a look at what we found in the center and what we thought. Thanks for supporting, watching ..... and yep, SUBSCRIBING πŸ™

Happy running everyone! πŸ’™

Episode 47 of the podcast is now live and kicking πŸ’™ A huge thank you to my guest this week, who is a coach and former competitive runner, Steve Purser, who heads up Team Purser Running. Steve talks about coaching athletes here in the UK as well as in Western Australia where he spent many years living. It was great to get a good insight into the dedication that goes into coaching that often spans a lot more than just the running itself.

Dave and Daniel also catch up and reveals these 'secret races' that are fast approaching. All revealed on this episode of the show. As always we wish you fantastic running ahead and hope you are all well πŸ™

The latest video on our channel is out to watch πŸŽ₯ Daniel took a trip - OUT - of the city, to the latest Blended Trails Pop-up. Exploring outside of the normal barriers set, he headed up a bit further than QECP, to try the route. Ollie Steele-Perkins led the run while replacing some of the stolen markers on route. So Dan got to speak to the founder himself (and some other runners), this time on camera. Check it out , enjoy and subscribe πŸ™πŸŒ„πŸ’™ Happy running all!

πŸŽ₯ Episode 3 - Track Tuesday πŸŽ₯ is now available πŸ“’ Find out what goes on at 06:30am each Tuesday at the Mountbatten Centre with Steve Bullock and a number of runners. And a bit more about the track and it's benefits, and how you can go along to try it tooπŸ™ Once again, highlighting just one of many great opportunities to get involved in running in Portsmouth πŸ’™ Thank you to Steve and the runners for allowing me to come along and film.
